Has your child shown an interest in learning a musical instrument?

Focus Music is the instrumental music provider at Christ the King School. We work in conjunction with your school’s classroom music program to give students the opportunity to learn a musical instrument at school.

How Does it Work?

Music Club is designed for students who are wanting to 'test the waters' and take their first steps in learning an instrument. We understand that parents like to be sure their student is committed to ongoing learning before they commit to things like buying their own instrument.

Students attend a weekly, 20-minute class on their chosen instrument. The class is run outside of school hours; either before school, after school, or during a recess or lunch time, so your student won’t miss out on classroom time. All instruments are provided.

Each Music Club is capped at 6 students for the Term to ensure your student gets the most out of their learning.

Each week your student will learn and discover the basics of their instrument through learning songs and other musical activities.

After one Term of Music Club (and having decided that learning an instrument is the best thing ever!), students are given the opportunity to progress to the next level of their learning through the private or group lesson format. In addition, parents have piece of mind and confidence in their student being committed to their instrument learning!
