Use the Criteria below each Level as a guide.

***BEGINNER LEVEL***
Guitar - I can play 3 songs in the Debut and Grade 1 RockSchool books.
Drums - I can play a basic rock beat on drums in time for 1-2 minute without stopping.
Vocals - I can sing songs but need the words in front of me. I need the singing on the backing -track so I don’t lose my place in the song.
Piano - I can play beginner pieces fluently (1-2 minutes long), mostly right-handed with some left-hand bass notes. I can play them mostly in time at a slower tempo.

***INTERMEDIATE LEVEL***
Guitar - I can play 3 songs in the Grade 2 RockSchool books
Drums - I can play different drumbeats in time for 2-3 minutes without stopping and some basic drum fills
Vocals - I can memorise most of the words to at least 3 songs and can mostly sing in time with a backing track.
Piano - I can play pieces fluently (2-3 minutes long), with two hands. I can play them mostly in time and a steady tempo.

***ADVANCED LEVEL***
Guitar - I can play 3 songs in the Grade 3 RockSchool books
Drums - I can play a range drumbeats in different styles, in time, for more than 3-4 minutes without stopping, and can play drum fills.
Vocals - I can memorise all the words to multiple songs and can sing in time with a backing track.
Piano - I can play more complex pieces fluently (3-4 minutes long), with 2 hands, I can play them fluently at the correct tempo.
